Locket began as a magazine in Austin, TX. In under two years, we’ve sold out three issues and created community-igniting experiences, resulting in direct support for local artists and thousands raised for immigration legal services. Now, we’re ready to expand beyond the pages of the magazine. Publishing is our next step in growing as a resource and home for independent media.

We found each other playing house shows, DJing raves, screening films, and curating exhibitions. Though we shared creative goals, we lacked a meaningful place to showcase our work and the community around it. So we started Locket Magazine: an outlet by and for friends making it happen in Austin, TX. Our goal is to document and celebrate the artists in our lives by capturing the people, places and moments shaping them.
